'Spaceballs'
Ten years after the first Star Wars movie was released, comedy guru Mel Brooks created the spoof comedy Spaceballs, starring Rick Moranis as the Darth Vader-inspired "Lord Dark Helmet" and the late John Candy as a Chewbacca takeoff named "Barf." While not the box-office extravaganza that Star Wars had been, Spaceballs remains a quotable cult classic and has seen success on DVD.
