Photos: The making of Maker Faire

Artists Dan Das Mann and Karen Cusolito pose in front of one of their oversize human sculptures. The sculptures are part of a series that they first built for Burning Man in 2005. This piece was part of a gigantic project at Burning man 2007 known as "Crude Awakening." Now, the piece, as well as two other of their large human figures, were being installed at Maker Faire on Thursday in San Mateo, Calif.
