Photos: Remembering Arthur C. Clarke
Perhaps Clarke's most famous work was 2001: A Space Odyssey, the 1968 film whose screenplay he co-wrote with filmmaker Stanley Kubrick. The film would become a classic and introduced several elements into popular culture, including the movie's theme music, as well as its intelligent computer character, Hal.
