South Lawn Cafe

The D.C. Googleplex doesn't employ its own chefs. But every day in the dining area pictured here--called the "South Lawn Cafe" in a nod to the famous White House green space--employees can feast on a free lunch buffet provided by a local company called Rock Creek Catering.

On a recent visit, selections included herb-marinated chicken, harvest grains, winter green vegetables, and freshly baked chocolate-chip cookies, which a Google representative informs us disappeared quickly.
