New York Times tech columnist David Pogue winds up the year and assuages his guilt by reviewing a half-dozen products that have sat on his shelf for much too long.

He likes the $50 Chargepod, which can charge a cell phone, iPod, Game Boy, Bluetooth earpiece, Palm organizer, and BlackBerry simultaneously. However, he considers the $10 extra charge for a connector cable for each gadget as "borderline outrageous."
