Photos: Notebook connects with cell phone tower

Hewlett-Packard released its new HP Compaq nc6400 in conjunction with Cingular Wireless. The new laptop has Wi-Fi for both WLAN and WWAN, a new form of connecting to the Internet by cell phone tower. While the laptop will work over an EDGE network, the nc6400 is one of the first computers to be compatible with Cingular's UMTS/HSDP wireless technology and is being marketed by both companies.
