Communicate. Persuade. Succeed.

Communicate. Persuade. Succeed.

Being a professional graphic designer and illustrator, I am always leery of software that claims to allow anyone with a computer the ability to produce quality graphics quickly and easily. SmartDraw is just such a piece of software. Its proud claim that "anyone can create great-looking business graphics of all kinds in minutes, not hours" was an assertion I couldn't help but put to the test.

You may download a free trial version of SmartDraw 2008 from the TechRepublic software library. System requirements are IBM-compatible PC with Windows Vista, XP or 2000, 256MB RAM, and (preferably) 3GB free hard disk space.

Read a concise summary of SmartDraw's strengths and weaknesses in this blog post.
