First stop is the Colosseum, home of gladiator fights, chariot races and war re-enactments--some of the bloodiest sporting events ever.

The actual departments involved in the project included the UCLA Cultural Virtual Reality Laboratory, the UCLA Experiential Technology Center, the Reverse Engineering Lab at the Politecnico de Milano, and the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities at the University of Virginia.
