Images: Peugeot, Xbox 360 car design winners emerge

Gustavo Ferrero of Venezuela, one of the few finalists to enter an off-road vehicle into the contest, took third place for his Peugeot Allscape. He also wins an Xbox 360 game console and a check for about $2,600.

The car, whose frame made of aluminum and carbon fiber, is envisioned to hold a natural-gas-powered V4 2-liter twin turbo Peugeot engine with a seven-speed sequential gearbox that could operate in three modes: automatic, manual and "F1."

An onboard computer would serve as a media center, a GPS navigator and an Internet browser. It would also monitor the car's performance.
