Drinks aren't always cheap, especially in trendier watering holes. For those occasions, the Alcotron could come in handy. Designed by Sergey Teterin and Anna Zueva, it can determine how much of a discount you might get. You set your drink down on one of three colored circles (red, green and blue--not pictured here), then press Alcotron's red button and see what color lights up. "If it's the color you picked, you got lucky and can get your drink free or half priced, depending on which betting mode you pick," Wurzer wrote on the Shifz blog.
