What better character to showcase a new "green" hybrid vehicle than Kermit the Frog? Ford's 2008 Escape Hybrid SUV with its gasoline/electric engine debuts with improved fuel economy and greater envirnomental impact than in previous models.

The seat cloth is made from 100 percent post-industrial waste--plastics and polyester fibers that would have otherwise filled a toxic waste dump.
