Photos: Micron puts tech to the test in road race

Score President Sal Fish congratulates Micron CEO Steve Appleton (left) on winning the Baja Challenge class of the Tecate Score Baja 1000. The race begins in northern Baja in Ensenada, Mexico, and ends in La Paz.

Micron--which makes computer memory, image sensors and flash memory--entered the race as a way to show off how well its image sensors and flash work. The company entered four cars in the race, and all were driven by company executives.
