Photos: Queuing up for the PS3 in San Francisco
Hundreds of people, some in line for more than 24 hours, were bundled up outside the Metreon in San Francisco waiting to buy one of the first Sony PlayStation 3 consoles . Many packed blankets, fold-up chairs, radios, decks of cards, magazines and even a chessboard to busy themselves until the doors open at midnight Thursday. Despite dark skies, only a few raindrops fell Thursday morning.
