You could barely turn your head at the housewares show without spying hair care products touting nanotechnology to create a glossier mane. This hair dryer from Tescom sells in Japan for about $100. A positive electric charge in the mist coming from a water-filled capsule within supposedly keeps hair from over-drying, preventing frizz. The salesperson at the show said she could tell that her boss only used the dryer on only one side of her head that day.
