The $179 Sleeptracker Pro system is built to help you sleep better. It includes a motion sensor--worn on the wrist--that detects when your muscles relax during REM sleep. Data on about 12 hours of sleeping patterns plugs into a computer via USB. The software spells out how long you sleep deeply, displaying the patterns next to data you fill in, like how many lattes you're quaffing lately. You can set an alarm to wake you up within a 90-minute window of time. It will only ring when Sleeptracker detects that you're in light sleep.
The $149 standard version, which has been out for several years, offers a 60-minute alarm window and collects 8 hours of sleep data.
