Photos: Pumping gas from manure to PG&E
This device measures the purity of the methane entering the pipelines, and purity is of the utmost importance. BioEnergy says it will eventually build enough digesters to provide PG&E with 3 billion cubic feet of natural gas a year. PG&E plans to use the gas to run its power plants.
