This 1939 Lincoln Zephyr is a classic example of streamlined design influenced by art deco aesthetics. It became Lincoln's best-selling car and is credited with influencing automakers to create stylish, aerodynamic vehicles in the 1930s.
Ecomodders say they are frustrated that car manufacturers seem to have forgotten the progress made in aerodynamics during what they consider a golden era of automotive design.
