Contemporary personal robots from companies like Ugobe, WowWee, and others are just the beginning for an industry that hopes to be in the mainstream in the next few years.
Zeno, an interactive robot from Hanson Robotics, can talk with people through wireless PC controls. The company's founder foresees a future in which the "brains" of personal robots will be stored on networks and will control the robots via wireless connectivity.
